Age is a gift

Connecting with your inner child can be a powerful way to improve your wellbeing and overall happiness. As we grow older, we often become burdened with responsibilities and stress, and we forget the simple joy and wonder of childhood. By reconnecting with this part of ourselves, we can tap into a source of creativity, playfulness, and curiosity that can help us navigate life's challenges with more ease.

One way to connect with your inner child is to engage in activities that you loved as a child, such as drawing, colouring, playing with toys, or dancing. You might also try spending time outdoors, going on adventures, or exploring new hobbies. By giving yourself permission to have fun and be spontaneous, you can rediscover a sense of joy that you may have forgotten.

Another benefit of connecting with your inner child is that it can help you develop greater empathy and compassion for others. Children are often more open and accepting than adults, and by tapping into this part of ourselves, we can cultivate a greater sense of connection and understanding with those around us.

Today we connected through play. Watching and working WITH younger people helped us get a different perspective on the process and ourselves. Connecting with your inner child is an important aspect of self-care and personal growth. By taking the time to play, explore, and have fun, you can improve your mental and emotional wellbeing, and develop a greater sense of connection with yourself and others.
